Operation: Newlywed

Our wedding has past. Gifts have been unwrapped and the last cake leftovers eaten. We're home from our grand adventure of a honeymoon and over the zombie-esque jet-lag that only 51 hours of non-stop travel could induce. I can't get over just how wonderful it is to wake up to KC every single day. Jet-setting to exotic locations is wonderful, but blissful domesticity is so sweet. I love getting up early in the mornings and making us big breakfasts or snuggling on the couch to watch something on instant Netflix. Married life is pretty fantastic ;)

Since we've been back, I've been enjoying looking through everyone's photos of our wedding and reading their comments and perspectives. It's been fun to see our special day through so many lenses. Our amazing photographer, Mindy Strauss, recently sent us a disk of the photos she took. They're so beautiful, I just had to share a few with you!

Such a beautiful, memorable day! Thank you to our wonderful family, friends, wedding party, and vendors for making our wedding so perfect! What a blessing ;)

Happily Wed

I married the love of my life yesterday ;) What a beautiful, joyful day! Thank you to all of our family and friends who could join us out a Edgefield. We'll be posting more photos when we get back from our honeymoon in two weeks!

Bachelorette Party

Last Saturday was my bachelorette party, planned and hosted by my sister Carrie and my friend Michelle. We started the evening off at Urban Fondue, where we stuffed ourselves with incredible cheeses, sausage, bread, seafood, meat, vegetables, chocolate, and various dessert items. Everything was sensational! Afterward, we headed to the Comedy Sportz club to watch two improv teams compete (one of which re-enacted KC and I's first date in opera form). Finally, we ended up at Moonstruck for a late night snack of coffee, chocolates, and macaroons. I really enjoyed myself; a wonderful time with amazing friends!

The official countdown has begun-- just a few more days! ;)
